Vacancy

Student internship

BASE likes to offer students the opportunity to experience what it is like to work in the practice of a niche firm. We do that by offering advanced law students a two-month internship or work-study placement (see the other vacancy). You are eligible for this if you are at least in the third year of your law studies, have an affinity with our areas of law, are strong in terms of legal knowledge and, above all, are very sociable.

What to expect

During your internship, you will be involved in our cases, sit in on meetings and attend court. Furthermore, you will be part of our team. This also means that you will accompany us to drinks, parties and events, and that you can, for example, participate in sports every week. Naturally, you will also receive a competitive internship remuneration.

Applying at BASE in 4 steps

Step 1

Send your cover letter, CV and grade lists to marlotte.reckers@baseadvocaten.nl or if for the positions of Team Assistant to tanja.dewaard@baseadvocaten.nl. Explain to us why you choose BASE and why you think you would be a good fit for our team.

Step 2

You will be invited to drop by for a further meeting. The aim of this meeting would be to see if there is a connection. In addition, we will of course also check whether your knowledge and skills fit our practice.

Step 3

For Team Assistants, Paralegals and in case of internships, usually only one interview takes place. For lawyers, a second interview takes place. If a substantive case has not yet been discussed in the first interview, this will be done in the second interview.

Step 4

You will hear from us whether you will become part of our team. If so, we will make you a proposal right away. And rest assured, you won't have to negotiate. Our working conditions are good and non-negotiable individually. After all, we are a team.
